System Requirements

In order to run Historis you require a server and must meet the following minimum requirements:

SUN Server Minimum Hardware Requirements

• 1 GB RAM
• Swap should be 2 x RAM minimum - recommend 8GB
• 50 Gigabyte Disk for MIM System; 9 Gigabyte disk for OS (Prefer 2x73 GB drives mirrored)
• System Backup Procedure
• DVD for database distribution - must be on UNIX
• Internet (ftp) connection initiated by the customer's machine for daily updates
• SMTP mail relay for LIM monitoring of server
• Postscript TCP/IP Printer Access

LINUX Server Minimum Hardware Requirements

• Intel Server
• 1 GB RAM
• Swap should be 2 x RAM minimum - recommend 8GB
